Call for Demonstration Subjects: Infants thru Teans ~ 5.31.18

Dear Friends, Colleagues & Students,

The TCM TREATMENT OF PEDIATRICS classes at Mayway are coming up this fall. Dates are Oct 27 & 28, and November 10 & 11. I am going to include live treatments on Sunday afternoon each weekend so that the treatments will serve as demonstrations on how to use Shonishin and treat various conditions.

If you or a friend or family member who has an infant, baby, toddler, little kid, big kid, pre-teen or teen and would like to schedule a treatment on Sunday Oct 28th or Sunday November 11th in the afternoon between 1pm-4:30pm, please let me know. We are recruiting all ages. Once I hear from you I will send your email to Dana Yates & Laura Stropes, who will be making appointments for those live classes and one of them will get back to you. If you want to cc Laura & Dana at the same time you get back to me, that would be super. Their shared email is: and mine:

Also, I will be inviting children to come for treatment in July. These treatments will not be during a live class but instead will be filmed so that those who take the classes via the live webinar (during the fall dates) or later via a distance learning video will be able to better see what the treatments look like, which is difficult to film in a live class.

We will be scheduling treatments on:

  • Thursday July 19th – 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break at noon.
  • Friday July 20th – 9am-5pm with an hour lunch break at noon.

Those interested in the treatments should please email:

  • Child’s name and age
  • What you’d like treated
  • Date/times that would work for you

Of course, these treatments are complementary. Nobody needs to pay or have insurance. Family members are invited to attend the treatments if they would like. Siblings are also welcome to attend. I would like to simulate as normal a clinical situation as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please get back to Laura, Dana or me.
Looking forward to seeing you and the little or young ones you’ll be bringing,
